Maintenance

It is essential to your air conditioning and heating systems to have regular maintenance tune-ups to ensure maximum performance. Your system will operate more efficiently and last longer with consistent system maintenance. Our preventative maintenance programs include a full air conditioning tune-up to keep your system running like it should.

We recommend that your HVAC system is serviced twice a year to prevent common problems from arising.

Customers under Maintenance Agreements receive priority scheduling and 10% off repairs.

Air Conditioner Inspection

  • Check refrigerant (Freon) pressures
  • Check compressor operation
  • Check electrical connections and wiring
  • Check and lube motors and bearings
  • Check volts and amp draw on electrical components
  • Check outside coil conditions
  • Check Delta Ton inside unit
  • Check condensate line for drainage (if accessible)
  • Check thermostat operations
  • Check safety controls
  • Check air filter/replace (not supplied)
  • Check noise and vibration levels
  • Check overall operation of system
  • Turn off humidifier (if requested)

Heat Pump Inspection

  • Check refrigerant (Freon) pressures
  • Check reversing valve operation (winter)
  • Check defrost system operation (winter)
  • Check auxiliary heat (winter)
  • Check and lube motors and bearings
  • Check volts and amp draw on electrical comp
  • Check electrical connections and wiring
  • Visually inspect blower and assembly
  • Check outdoor coil condition
  • Check inside coil condition (if accessible)
  • Check condensate line for drainage
  • Check accumulator for leaks
  • Check thermostat operation
  • Check safety controls
  • Check air filter/replace (not supplied)
  • Check noise and vibration levels
  • Check overall operation of system
  • Turn on/off humidifier (if requested)

Gas Furnace Inspections

  • Check gas pressure
  • Check for gas leaks
  • Check for carbon monoxide leaks
  • Check inducer draft motor for proper venting
  • Check pilot and thermo coupling assembly
  • Check electronic spark ignition
  • Check heat exchanger with mirrors for leaks and cracks
  • Check and lube all motors and bearings
  • Check safety controls
  • Check air filter/replace (not supplied)
  • Check noise and vibration levels
  • Visually inspect the blower assembly
  • Check overall operation of the furnace
  • Check electrical wiring
  • Turn on humidifier
  • Vacuum the main fire box and blower compartment
